SSenior Frontend Developer (Angular)

About the Role

Our client is a next-generation information systems and banking operations provider serving the wealth management industry. Operating across Europe and Asia with a growing team in Singapore, they deliver integrated, turnkey digital solutions that help wealth managers meet their evolving digital needs.

They have embarked on an ambitious modernization of their technical product offering, starting with digital e‑banking. To support this transformation, we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Frontend Developer to join the UI team and build outstanding user experiences with Angular. You will apply your extensive experience with modern technologies and practices to help end‑users make effective use of e‑banking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test new features, and build and maintain high‑quality, responsive web applications.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Work with third‑party libraries, and update and migrate the codebase when needed.
  • Participate in constructive design discussions to deliver maintainable, practical solutions.
  • Make recommendations on how to evolve the codebase.
  • Accurately estimate development effort.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and squash bugs.
  • Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
  • Mentor junior developers.
Requirements
  • Degree from a technical institute, university or college, with at least 5–10 years' experience in design and development within a full‑stack environment.
  • 5+ years of web development experience, primarily using the Angular framework.
  • Strong command of Angular, HTML, SCSS, TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating them.
  • Thorough knowledge of unit, end‑to‑end and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, Docker, Veracode), and able to maintain them when necessary.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the banking domain is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills; self‑motivated, adaptable and goal‑oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
