ST Sports Information Student Worker - ST324

Position Summary The Illinois College Sports Information Office is seeking dependable, detail-oriented student assistants to support game day operations for Blueboy and Lady Blue athletic events. Student assistants play an essential role in the successful execution of home competitions by assisting with live statistics, scoreboard operation, video production, and other event management responsibilities. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in collegiate athletics, sports communications, event management, broadcasting, and technology. Primary Responsibilities · Operate electronic scoreboards during selected Illinois College home athletic events. · Assist with live statistics by spotting and communicating game action to the official statistician. · Operate video cameras for live streaming and game recording. · Assist with live video production using production software and equipment. · Set up, test, and tear down game management and broadcast equipment. · Help ensure accurate scoring, timing, and statistical reporting throughout contests. · Work closely with Sports Information staff, game officials, and event personnel. · Maintain a professional appearance and represent Illinois College Athletics in a positive manner. · Perform other duties as assigned related to athletic communications and event management.
