SECURITY MANAGER – THE STAR
JOB DESCRIPTION

The Security Manager is responsible for security procedures of the Frisco campus, called The Star. The Security will manage security processes, training, and third-party security relationships as needed. The Security Manager reports to the Director, Security and Parking– The Star.

Job Duties:

Management of 24/7 security operations and event security operations
Refine, develop, and implement security policies and procedures
Manage safety and security training regimen for employees of The Star
Manage third party security provider to supply sufficient security resources
Develop security plans for events hosted on property

Coordinate emergency response/continuity operations plans (write, review, and update)
Report, track, and document incidents that occur on property through appropriate means

Work facilities/events as needed (includes nights and weekends)
Coordinate periodic security audits
Analyze information and provide suggestions for growth/improvement
Coordinate with local, state, and/or federal law enforcement and fire agencies as needed
Manage security equipment inventory as required
Conduct investigations as needed

Support other Dallas Cowboys corporate security initiatives/teams as required (including Oxnard)
Work with property management companies to ensure continuity of operations
Assist with preparation of budgets relative to staff daily operations and events
Oversee and support security structure for key Cowboys brand entities, including Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC), Rhythm & Blues, and Rowdy the mascot.

Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Director, Security and Parking– The Star

Qualifications:

College degree preferred
5+ years of related experience
Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) preferred
Full understanding of Texas Private Security rules and regulations required
Experience with access control software (programming and processes) preferred
Experience with security camera systems preferred
Experience with incident reporting software preferred

Experience conducting staff trainings (FTE, security, ushers, ticket takers, etc.) preferred
Experience conducting safety and security based education
Experience writing emergency response plans and continuity plans preferred
Attended IAVM Venue Management School, Academy for Venue Safety and Security or other similar programs preferred

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects
Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary
Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends (including on-call duties) across all DCFC owned properties as directed
U.S. and International travel required as needed
