What You’ll Handle

As Staff Accountant AR, you keep accounts receivable accurate, current, and audit-ready so cash is applied correctly and reporting is dependable. You’ll post and apply customer payments, manage invoicing and credits, follow up on past-due accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams and customers. You’ll support month-end close activities tied to AR, maintain clean customer account records, and help improve AR processes and controls.

Required qualifications/skills:
- 3+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP and AR best practices
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Clear, professional communication and consistent attention to detail

Your Weekly Rhythm

You’ll work onsite in Oxnard Monday through Thursday, starting by checking cash activity and prioritizing items that need same-day answers. Expect steady coordination with customer service, shipping, and program teams to clarify documentation and keep customer accounts moving. Midday is focused time for clean-up work—reviewing open items, confirming supporting details, and preparing clear notes for follow-up. Later, you’ll align your records with internal reporting needs, flag exceptions early, and keep files organized so close periods run smoothly and questions are easy to answer.
