Staff Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision and direction of the Controller, the Staff Accountant is responsible for various accounting functions and for performing miscellaneous accounting duties, applies principles of accounting, record keeping, and analysis to maintain Hospital general accounting systems and financial reporting, and assisting the Controller with various projects as needed.

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field is required.
2. Experience in mainframe computer systems and PC based systems.
3. Two years in Accounting with Hospital/Healthcare experience preferred.
4. Proficient in Excel spreadsheets, Word documents.
