Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is a key contributor to accurate, timely financial reporting that supports informed business decisions and keeps operations moving forward. This position is located at the Home Office in Bozeman, MT. Must live within a 40-mile radius of the corporate office.

As a Murdoch's Team Member, you will...

• Reconcile daily store sales activity accurately and promptly
• Reconcile daily and monthly cash activity
• Support the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements
• Contribute to the year-end inventory process
• Review and audit accounts receivable activity
• Participate in the company-wide budgeting process
• Prepare accurate, well-organized workpapers for the annual company audit
• Analyze balance sheet and profit-and-loss accounts to identify trends and variances
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities and other duties as assigned
