You will partner with engineers on security fixes and secure design improvements, including contributing code directly. You will investigate findings, assess their practical impact, build application security tooling and automation, and integrate preventative controls into the software development lifecycle while validating AI-assisted work.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams on security fixes and secure design improvements
- Investigate security findings and communicate evidence and solutions
- Build and maintain application security tooling using AI-assisted investigation
- Build automation and integrate preventative controls into the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in security, application security engineering, or product security roles
- Experience building and maintaining production software
- Programming, debugging, and system design skills
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar codebases and reason about misuse
- Experience delivering technical work across complex engineering organizations
- Threat modeling and technical risk communication skills
- Experience building developer tooling, automation, or software development lifecycle integrations
- Experience using AI to support technical work and validate outputs
- Experience with C, C++, Go, Python, JavaScript, and web frameworks
