Why this role is interesting This is not a traditional Staff Engineer role where you work only at an architectural or strategic level. We are looking for a highly experienced Data Engineer who can shape technical direction while remaining genuinely hands-on—someone equally comfortable designing scalable data platforms, writing production-quality code, mentoring engineers and influencing senior technical and business stakeholders. You will work across multiple teams and value streams, helping shape the future of a large-scale Data & Integration landscape. Your technical decisions will influence how data pipelines, data marts and platform components are designed, built, governed and operated. You will also help teams adopt AI-assisted and agentic development practices, establishing practical patterns and guardrails that accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
