This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Engineer, Staff Engineer – ERP Oracle CPQ Technical Consultant based in India.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oracle CPQ professional to take ownership of complex enterprise implementations and integrations. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions. The role spans Oracle CPQ configuration, commerce flows, pricing, approvals, document generation, and enterprise integrations. You will work closely with CRM and ERP platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, and SAP. You will also engage directly with business and technical stakeholders through workshops, solution design, and technical discussions. Working within global, cross-functional teams, you will help shape delivery standards while mentoring junior consultants and driving technical excellence.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations and integrations, covering configuration, commerce flows, pricing, approvals, and document generation.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, robust, and high-quality Oracle CPQ technical solutions.
- Configure and customize Oracle CPQ modules to meet complex business and enterprise requirements.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot BML scripts, BMQL queries, and XSLT-based document templates.
- Design, develop, and support integrations between Oracle CPQ and CRM/ERP platforms, including Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, SAP, and other enterprise applications.
- Architect integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware-based integration patterns.
- Conduct client workshops to understand business processes, gather requirements, and define appropriate technical approaches.
- Prepare and present solution designs, technical approaches, and integration architectures to technical and business stakeholders.
- Support unit testing, system integration testing, UAT, production deployments, release management, and post-production support.
- Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, business rules, security requirements, integration standards, and development best practices.
- Promote effective use of version control, DevOps practices, release management, and enterprise application deployment processes.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical guidance across implementation and delivery teams.
- Contribute to technical documentation, reusable assets, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and best practices.
- Collaborate with distributed, cross-functional, and global teams to ensure successful delivery of Oracle CPQ solutions.
- 6+ years of total professional experience, with strong experience in enterprise application consulting and hands-on expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud.
- Strong technical proficiency in BML, BMQL, XSLT, and Oracle CPQ configuration modules.
- Solid understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, pricing models, commerce flows, and approval workflows.
- Proven experience integrating Oracle CPQ with CRM/ERP platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, SAP, or similar enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and middleware-based integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ configuration, commerce processes, pricing logic, document generation, and customizations.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing BML scripts, BMQL queries, and XSLT-based document templates.
- Experience supporting testing, UAT, production deployments, and release management in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with version control, DevOps practices, and enterprise application deployment processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to conduct workshops, gather requirements, and collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Oracle CPQ certification is an added advantage.
