Position Summary As Staff Frontend Engineer, you are the technical visionary and practice lead driving frontend craftsmanship across Product Development, Horticulture, and Building Automation. While staying hands-on with modern tech, your primary focus is strategic: scaling architectures, defining roadmaps, and elevating engineering standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Technical Strategy & Architecture: Set the long-term frontend vision, shape architectural designs, and drive the tooling roadmap to meet non-functional requirements (NFRs).

  • Standards & Governance: Define coding standards, design systems, and strategies for code evolution, SSDLC security, and multi-team branching/deployment.

  • Cross-Org Leadership & Innovation: Lead technical direction across domains, evaluate third-party frameworks, and pioneer new technologies.

  • Mentorship & Community: Act as frontend practice lead, mentoring senior engineers, running chapters and guilds, and representing Priva in external tech communities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Languages & Web Fundamentals: Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript, paired with modern HTML, CSS, and web standards.

  • Angular & Reactive Stack: Deep mastery of Angular architecture (DI, change detection, routing, forms) and advanced RxJS reactive programming.

  • State Management: Extensive production experience with NgRx and Redux-based state management patterns.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Comprehensive end-to-end and unit testing strategies using Playwright and Jest.

  • Architecture & Tooling: Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines, web performance optimization (Lighthouse, Web Vitals), secure coding, and accessibility (a11y).
