Staff Nurse | Lactation Consultant | Up to $4,800/Month
📍 Location: Novena
💰 Salary: Up to $4,800/month
🕘 Working Hours: Office hours, 5.5-day work week
📄 Employment Type: Permanent.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
Provide evidence-based breastfeeding support, lactation consultations and parentcraft education.
Guide mothers and families in breastfeeding techniques and informed infant-feeding decisions.
Conduct newborn care and infant-care training for parents and caregivers.
Assess and manage common breastfeeding challenges, including breast engorgement, plugged ducts and mastitis.
Demonstrate alternative feeding methods, including cup feeding, syringe feeding and Supplemental Nursing Systems (SNS).
Recognise neonatal emergencies and escalate complex cases appropriately.
Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Ensure compliance with clinical procedures, hospital policies, patient confidentiality and quality standards.
