Summary
Staff nurse in a cardiac specialist clinic assisting doctors, administering treatments, and managing patient records in a clinical setting.
- Assist cardiologists during patient consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories.
- Prepare, maintain, and update patient medical records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Coordinate laboratory investigations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments.
- Manage clinic inventory, including medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Provide administrative support, including appointment scheduling, handling patient enquiries, registration, and billing.
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards in accordance with clinic policies.
- Perform other nursing and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Nursing
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
