Core tools include Figma, design systems, and research/analytics platforms like Pendo, Sigma, and Maze.
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Designer - Analytics based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the design of intuitive, insightful, and actionable experiences within a complex Analytics product. You will shape how customers interpret and act on business data across dashboards, reports, visualizations, and core product workflows. Working across the full product lifecycle, you will contribute to discovery, research, strategy, ideation, execution, and iteration. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering to influence product direction while creating scalable systems and cohesive user experiences. The role combines strong design craft with systems thinking, customer advocacy, and strategic product influence. You will also help raise the quality of the broader design practice through mentorship, collaboration, and thoughtful design leadership.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end product design for Analytics, translating complex data, reporting requirements, and business workflows into intuitive and actionable experiences across dashboards, reports, and core product surfaces.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, identify opportunities, and transform complex customer and business needs into clear experiences that deliver meaningful outcomes.
- Influence Analytics vision, strategy, and roadmap by bringing a strong customer perspective, systems thinking, and an understanding of how healthcare practices use data to make business decisions.
- Establish scalable interaction models and reusable patterns that balance usability, discoverability, flexibility, and depth across analytical workflows.
- Create a cohesive Analytics ecosystem by reducing fragmentation and developing consistent mental models across dashboards, filters, reports, visualizations, comparisons, and related workflows.
- Leverage and extend the existing Design System to deliver accessible, consistent, and scalable experiences while introducing patterns that can support evolving data and reporting needs.
- Conduct and synthesize research with practice owners, office managers, and front-office teams to understand how customers interpret and act on data and identify opportunities to make Analytics more useful and actionable.
- Use product analytics, customer feedback, Pendo, Sigma, and similar tools to evaluate effectiveness, identify friction, and continuously improve experiences based on real-world behavior.
- Partner closely with Engineering throughout implementation to preserve design intent, interaction quality, accessibility, and system cohesion through delivery.
- Champion a high standard of design quality through critiques, design strategy, knowledge sharing, mentorship, and contributions to the broader design practice.
- Bring a systems-level perspective to complex problems by simplifying workflows, identifying reusable patterns, and creating a scalable foundation for future product evolution.
- Bring 7+ years of product or UX design experience with a proven record of shipping data-intensive products in analytics, BI, SaaS, financial, healthcare, or similar environments, covering discovery, strategy, execution, launch, and iteration.
- Demonstrate strong UX and visual design fundamentals, with the ability to transform complex data, workflows, and information architectures into intuitive, scalable, and actionable experiences.
- Have experience designing data-dense interfaces involving dashboards, reporting, data visualization, filtering, segmentation, drill-downs, comparisons, and other advanced analytical workflows.
- Demonstrate strong product design thinking and the ability to independently identify problems, frame opportunities, influence product strategy, and make informed design decisions alongside Product and Engineering.
- Bring hands-on expertise with Figma, user research and testing methods, and product analytics or research tools such as Pendo, Sigma, Maze, or comparable platforms.
- Possess strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across multidisciplinary teams and clearly explain design decisions.
- Be able to balance customer needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and scalability when making product and design decisions.
- Maintain a high bar for craft and attention to detail, with a strong focus on consistency, accessibility, usability, and quality across the product experience.
- Demonstrate curiosity, ownership, and initiative when navigating ambiguous problems, creating clarity, and moving work forward without waiting for detailed direction.
- Understand or be able to quickly learn the day-to-day realities of healthcare practices and design around real customer needs rather than surface-level requests.
- Think beyond individual features to identify patterns, simplify complexity, and create scalable experiences across products, while remaining comfortable navigating multi-tenant environments, legacy systems, integrations, and technical constraints.
- Demonstrate a collaborative leadership style through mentorship, thoughtful feedback, knowledge sharing, relationship building, and the ability to bring Product and Engineering stakeholders together around strong customer outcomes.
- The position is 100% remote in India, offering flexibility to work remotely.
- Opportunity to take significant ownership of Analytics and directly influence product direction and customer outcomes.
- Exposure to complex, data-intensive product challenges within the healthcare technology space.
- Collaboration with Product, Engineering, research, and other cross-functional teams throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Opportunity to influence scalable design systems, interaction patterns, and broader product design quality.
- A supportive environment for mentorship, knowledge sharing, design critiques, and continued professional growth.
- Inclusive workplace culture that values curiosity, problem-solving, learning, and progress, with reasonable accommodations available for candidates who require them.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check in accordance with applicable laws.
