About the role Fin is seeking experienced engineers to join our AI Group and advance our customer agent technology. You will collaborate with machine learning scientists and product teams to translate research into functional, production-ready features for our global user base.

What you'll do

• Develop systems that support our primary AI products using Python and Ruby on Rails.
• Transition proof-of-concept code into scalable, reliable production environments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional product teams to define and refine AI-driven user experiences.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, from initial concepts and prototyping to final implementation.
• Mentor team members and contribute to hiring and professional development initiatives.
• Establish high technical standards for performance and operational reliability across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong technical fundamentals and a history of delivering high-impact work.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
• Ability to prioritize progress and outcomes over perfect solutions.
• ML experience is not required, provided you possess strong engineering skills and a willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in statistical analysis or data-focused roles.
