Staff Product Manager who owns Morpho's expansion into new credit markets: sizing opportunities, identifying institutional needs, designing proof-of-concept loans with new counterparties, and shipping zero-to-one loan categories while mapping regulatory and compliance requirements. You will determine which new credit markets to pursue, size opportunities, identify institutional needs, and sequence the work required to launch new loan categories. You will design proof of concepts with new counterparties, scale validated models, and account for regulatory, compliance, and registration requirements in your decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy for expanding into new credit markets.
- Size new markets using market data and competitive dynamics.
- Build and run processes to identify institutional needs across use cases and industries.
- Decide where to build and where to partner, then ship zero-to-one loan categories.
- Design and run proof of concepts with new counterparty types and scale proven models.
- Map regulatory, compliance, and registration requirements for each new market.
Requirements
- Proven track record taking products from zero to one in greenfield markets.
- Experience in crypto, traditional finance, or fintech with a working grasp of credit markets.
- Experience shipping products with regulatory or compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to create clarity and drive decisions in highly ambiguous environments.
- Fast synthesis and ability to ramp on unfamiliar industries and markets quickly.
- Team-first mindset and low ego.
