What you’ll do
- Test Automation Focus: work to identify, design, and implement automated test cases to convert existing manual processes, improving the efficiency and speed of our QA cycles.
- Executing and Writing Tests: create, maintain, and run detailed automated (and when necessary, manual) test suites for our platform, ensuring all features are thoroughly tested.
- Framework Maintenance: develop and optimize test scripts using our automation frameworks, ensuring test suites are scalable and reusable.
- Test Design and Optimization: leverage your experience to define and design collections of tests for maximum coverage and efficiency across web and mobile applications.
- Organization and maintenance: keep our automated test repositories, testbooks, and test assets well-organized, clean, and up-to-date.
- Guideline improvement: help improve our current automation guidelines, testing strategies, and CI/CD integration processes to make them more efficient.
- Team support: assist other team members in adopting automation practices, writing test cases, and sharing your technical expertise and best practices.
- Experience in automation: proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, or in a similar technical QA role. Strong background in shifting manual testing to automated testing is essential.
- Framework knowledge: experience with Robot Framework is highly preferred; however, strong expertise in alternative automation frameworks (and a willingness to adapt to Robot Framework) is acceptable.
- Core technical skills: Solid proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with automation tools, specifically Selenium WebDriver (for web) and Appium (for mobile testing).
- Testing methodologies: a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design patterns and automated testing best practices.
- Bug tracking & test management: Experience with bug tracking systems like Jira is required. Familiarity with test management tools, specifically the Xray plugin, is highly suggested.
- SDLC & Agile: a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines is required, while experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Problem solving: excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to debug complex automation scripts.
- SQL Knowledge: basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for database validation, querying, and data verification.
- CI/CD & Containerization: familiarity with CI/CD flows and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and docker to integrate and run automated tests within deployment pipelines and containerized environments.
- Domain Knowledge: prior understanding of the FSM industry, including its core workflows and business entities, is highly valued.
- Cloud platforms: basic understanding or familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.

- The expected annual gross salary range for this position is €40,000–€55,000.
