Staff Site Reliability Engineer

You will design, deliver, review, deploy, and maintain cloud-hosted production infrastructure and services. You will improve automated CI/CD pipelines, build resilient and observable cloud and security technologies, evaluate technologies, plan improvements, share expertise, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solutions for cloud-hosted production infrastructure.
• Review and provide feedback on solutions delivered by other engineers.
• Develop and deploy enterprise software using optimized and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, build, and support resilient, observable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure and security technologies.
• Communicate expertise to different audiences and support others' development.
• Participate in work planning and identify improvements.
• Evaluate and select technologies.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP.
• Experience programming with Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Docker containerization.
• Experience defining and implementing automated service deployments.
• Understanding of deployment automation best practices.
• Experience using Git in a team environment.
• Computer science degree or equivalent experience.
