This role provides technical leadership within a software development team focused on endpoint cybersecurity and highly reliable agent-based services.
You will contribute to software deployed across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments, helping protect organizations against evolving cyber threats.
The position combines expert-level programming, system design, project ownership, and mentorship of experienced engineers.
You will drive technical excellence across code quality, performance, reliability, architecture, and development practices.
Working closely with Product, Security, and DevOps teams, you will help shape robust technical solutions and deliver complex initiatives.

Accountabilities:
- Develop highly reliable code for agent-based cybersecurity services and their deployment across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex technical initiatives, ensuring high standards of execution, reliability, and software quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including high-level designs, architecture specifications, and other engineering documentation.
- Drive technical excellence across code quality, system performance, reliability, and software development best practices.
- Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers on technical design, programming practices, architecture, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Security, and DevOps teams to design and implement effective technical solutions.
- Apply deep knowledge of operating system internals and system-level programming to address complex engineering challenges.
- Contribute to cybersecurity capabilities involving threat detection, security data processing, and endpoint protection.
- 8–12+ years of experience in systems engineering, including 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in one or more system-level programming languages, such as C++ or Rust.
- Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring engineers across different levels of seniority.
- Strong track record of delivering highly reliable software in environments where engineering excellence is critical.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and security data processing.
- Experience working on an agent team within a SaaS organization.
- Deep knowledge of operating system internals and systems-level engineering concepts.
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take ownership of complex projects while balancing technical execution, reliability, and long-term engineering quality.

- Base salary range of $86,000–$265,700 USD annually, with actual compensation varying based on skills, experience, location, and job family level.
