Staff Software Engineer
- Design and development of low-level software to integrate new Arm architecture features across Linux, Android, and related userspace components
- Architecture, development, and optimization of core OS subsystems with a focus on performance, power efficiency, and security
- Driving complex technical investigations across software layers, identifying root causes and leading resolution of performance, optimization, and protection issues
- Leading code reviews, influencing design decisions, and ensuring high-quality contributions with upstream open-source communities
- Partnering with teams specializing in Arm architecture and silicon to deliver and incorporate support for new architectural features
- Mentoring and technical guidance of junior and mid-level engineers, promoting guidelines in low-level systems development
- Proficiency in C and C++
- Strong understanding of OS internals such as memory management, scheduling, or virtualisation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and structured approach to debugging complex low-level software issues
- Experience of software profiling, instrumentation, and optimization
- Experience leading technical discussions, code reviews, and upstream collaborations in open-source projects
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Android internals
- Familiarity with at least one CPU architecture, preferably Armv8-A or newer
- Familiarity with Python and other scripting languages used for automation, analysis, and testing
- Familiarity with Rust or another memory-safe language
- Understanding of modern compiler toolchains, particularly LLVM-based technologies
- Exposure to technical leadership, project coordination, or an interest in developing line-management skills
- Contribution at the forefront of Arm architecture innovation
- Collaboration with outstanding engineers on industry-defining technology

- Salary range of HUF 21,250,000 - HUF 28,750,000 per year
