- Design and build agentic platforms and workflows powering backend services — enabling capabilities such as code analysis, code generation, automated review, and autonomous task execution
- Contribute to gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
- Serve as a technical leader within the team: mentor fellow engineers, demonstrate technical expertise, and drive solutions to challenging programming and design problems
- Roughly 50-70% hands-on coding
- Create technical documentation to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams
- Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive results
- Drive continuous improvement with a focus on availability, usability, reusability, performance, maintainability, and cost
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience designing and developing web, software, or mobile applications
- Demonstrated technical leadership: leading design discussions, driving projects end to end, and acting as a go-to technical resource for the team
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience with AI frameworks, agentic workflows, and LLM integration (e.g., OpenAI API, Anthropic API, LangGraph, CrewAI)
- Strong experience with any of the following Object-Oriented Languages: Java/J2EE, C#, Python, Go, or similar
- Strong experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Solid grounding in the software design/architecture process, including distributed systems
- Team player with the ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with multi-functional groups
