Staff Software Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Java, Angular/TypeScript, and SQL
• Experience building full stack applications and REST APIs
• Knowledge of system integrations, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Comfortable working in an agile environment with evolving requirements
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Eligible for Security Clearance (SC)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance new features across our training management platform
• Work across modern Angular front ends, Java backend services, APIs, and SQL databases
• Build integrations with customer ERP systems, data platforms, and partner applications
• Contribute to a major UK defence transformation programme
• Take hands-on technical ownership of the role
• Influence architecture, engineering standards, and best practices
• Mentor other developers
