Staff Software Engineer | iOS
You will lead the design, development, and launch of new products for Ramp’s iOS app. You will drive the product engineering roadmap, make prioritization and scoping decisions, review code, set engineering standards, mentor others, and own product quality. You will partner with Product and Design to plan key features and work with product and business teams to incorporate customer feedback into continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design, lead, build, and launch new products for the iOS app
- Drive the core product engineering roadmap and make prioritization and scoping decisions
- Review code, set engineering standards, mentor others, and own quality
- Partner with Product and Design to plan and identify key features
- Work with product and business teams to understand customer feedback and improve the product
Requirements
- At least 5 years of iOS development experience
- At least 2 years of technical leadership experience leading or managing teams
- Proficiency in Swift for iOS development
- Knowledge of iOS UI components and the iOS Developer Platform
- Experience contributing to a mobile app or features that reached many users
- Understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices
- Understanding of mobile app security best practices
