Staff Software Engineer - Native Mobile (iOS & Android)
We are building the native mobile foundation for Intuit's Identity and Consent platform - the layer that governs authentication, consent, and privacy experiences for tens of millions of customers across TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma.
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Identity & Consent team in Bangalore, you will design and own our Consent Native SDK, a production-grade SDK adopted across all Intuit native applications. This is a platform investment, not a feature role - you will set technical direction, drive cross-app integration, and lay the groundwork for a growing mobile identity engineering practice in IDC. The scope extends beyond Consent: as Identity's mobile surface area expands, you will contribute to authentication, session management, and identity primitives as well.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and own the Consent Native SDK for iOS and Android, ensuring it is production-grade, secure, and maintainable at Intuit scale
- Drive adoption and integration of the SDK across Intuit's native application portfolio, partnering closely with TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma mobile teams
- Establish SDK governance, versioning, and support patterns that other teams can build on reliably
- Provide technical leadership within the team — set standards, conduct design reviews, and raise the engineering bar
- Collaborate with product, privacy, legal, and security stakeholders to ensure the SDK meets OneTrust compliance requirements and Intuit's data privacy standards
- Contribute to the broader Identity mobile roadmap as the practice expands to authentication and other identity primitives
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in native iOS (Swift) and native Android (Kotlin) - genuinely strong in both, not primarily one
- Proven experience designing and shipping production-grade mobile SDKs or platform libraries adopted by multiple teams or applications
- Strong foundation in mobile security, performance, and reliability at scale
- Demonstrated technical leadership: experience influencing architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and driving adoption across teams
- Familiarity with identity, authentication, or privacy/consent systems is a strong plus
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills - comfortable working with product, legal, and engineering stakeholders across time zones
