Staff Software Engineer Perpetuals

You will own the technical architecture and roadmap for the Perpetuals experience across Extension and Mobile. You will set standards for trading-critical features, lead cross-team technical initiatives, solve complex technical problems, mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and contribute technical judgment to prioritization and planning.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and roadmap for the Perpetuals experience across Extension and Mobile
• Set technical direction and standards for trading-critical features
• Drive technical alignment across experience, backend, and protocol integration teams
• Identify and de-risk difficult technical problems
• Make build-versus-buy and architecture trade-off decisions
• Partner on prioritization and technical planning
• Mentor engineers and conduct design and architecture reviews
• Represent Perpetuals engineering in cross-functional planning

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with web and mobile-based technologies
• Experience building trading, financial, or other correctness-critical systems
• Experience with real-time data systems and resilient user experiences for unreliable network conditions
• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams or codebases
