Staff Test Engineer

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, or Physics (advanced degree is an advantage).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in power semiconductor test and/or product engineering.
    • Background in high-power semiconductors and analog driver ICs test development is preferred.
    • Familiarity with Teradyne ETS88/800/364, AccoTest STS8200, PowerTech Qt4100 test platforms or equivalent multi-site systems is a big advantage.
    • Wafer sort testing experience is an added advantage
    • Experience with Labview programming is an added advantage
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Visual C++ programming and/or Python andLabView.
    • Strong background in test development for power semiconductors and IC Gate drivers.
    • Strong bench-testing skills using power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and curve tracers for debugging.
    • Experience in dynamic testing of power semiconductors is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently.
    • Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).
    • Effective team player with proven ability to collaborate across multi-functional groups and global locations.
  • Additional Competencies:
    • Solid technical project management skills with a results-driven mindset.
    • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering and Manufacturing Test Engineering teams to support new product development and ensure smooth ramp-up to mass production.
  • Design, develop, and implement test software and hardware for SiC and GaN products, both for FT and wafer sort development.
  • Establish comprehensive test coverage to eliminate test escapes and guarantee product quality.
  • Perform product characterization, analyze data, and deliver clear, actionable reports.
  • Drive innovation by exploring and implementing new test methodologies, hardware, and software solutions for SiC/GaN devices.
