Static Equipment Design Engineer - Hybrid, Global Projects

Saipem is seeking a Static Equipment Engineer for the ENCAR Business line in Milano, offering a hybrid work model with worldwide travel. The role requires a master’s or bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and at least five years’ experience with international contracting and engineering firms.

Perform design, verification or study activities on storage tanks and process equipment. Coordinate technical activities with Saipem teams and subcontractors as needed. Follow up on supplies with vendors after purchase orders. Estimate weights and costs for equipment items. Prepare engineering data sheets and documentation per specifications. Optimize solutions to balance performance and cost. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Minimum 5 years of experience in the same or similar positions with international main contracting & engineering companies. Familiarity with PV Elite, Compress or similar software for mechanical design. Hybrid working model Travel worldwide Milano location
