Summary

Performs livestock handling, station maintenance, and vehicle operations at a remote cattle station in Australia’s Northern Territory, including mustering cattle and using horses and machinery.

We are looking for a talented Station hand to join our team in Eva Downs. Eva Downs is situated approximately 380 km northeast from its nearest town, Tennant Creek. It is set in the hub of the Northern Territory’s Barkly Tablelands on the historic Barkly Stock Route.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete general station maintenance.
  • Mustering, drafting, and trucking of cattle.
  • Vehicle and machinery operations.
  • Safely perform your job and take responsibility for your safe work behaviour.
  • Use of horses and motorbikes.
  • Feed supplement distribution.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous horse-riding experience.
  • Current Driver's license.
  • Livestock handling experience.
  • Q Fever Vaccination.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
