THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT DOTT
Full-time, permanent and hybrid (3 days/week in the office).
As Statutory External Reporting Manager, you will own end-to-end statutory reporting for a portfolio of Dott’s legal entities across Europe and the Middle East – from the Group IFRS trial balance, through local GAAP conversion, audit and approval, to filing – as part of our Finance Team in Wroclaw.
This role goes beyond traditional statutory compliance – it is an opportunity to help build a scalable statutory reporting engine for a multi-entity, multi-country group, with an AI-native agenda.
Reporting into the Statutory Reporting Lead, you will be accountable for the quality and timeliness of statutory deliverables for your entities, working closely with Group Accounting, Tax, Legal and our external auditors.
Statutory Reporting & Local GAAP Conversion
Own the IFRS-to-local GAAP bridge for your entities: calculate and document local GAAP adjustments, and reconcile local equity and result back to IFRS
Prepare complete statutory financial statements, including notes and management / directors’ reports, in line with local requirements
Own the statutory calendar for your entities – audit, approval and filing deadlines – and ensure every deadline is met
Maintain Group-to-local chart of accounts mappings, including electronic filing (e.g. XBRL) where required
Prepare position papers on judgemental local GAAP areas, and monitor changes in local GAAP, company law and filing requirements
Statutory Audit & Compliance
Lead statutory audits for your entities end to end: agree plans with auditors, own PBC lists and drive findings to resolution
Partner with Tax on statutory-to-tax reconciliations, and monitor capital maintenance, going concern and distributable reserves
Maintain internal controls over statutory reporting, ensuring adjustments and judgements are documented and evidenced
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
Support NetSuite and reporting tool enhancements for statutory needs, driving process improvement and standardisation
Build for the future & embrace AI – automate towards an AI-native statutory reporting function
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or a local chartered accountant qualification is preferred
8+ years post-qualified experience in statutory reporting, external audit (ideally Big 4) and/or group reporting within a multinational
Strong command of IFRS and at least one major European local GAAP, with hands-on IFRS-to-local GAAP conversion experience
Proven track record of preparing full statutory financial statements, including notes, and owning statutory audits end to end
Experience in a multi-entity, multi-country setup; exposure to shared services or a scale-up environment is a strong plus
A track record of process improvement, standardisation or automation initiatives
Proficient with ERP and financial systems (e.g. NetSuite) and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
Proactive and personable – you communicate clearly and are not afraid to challenge stakeholders, auditors and directors
An ownership mindset: you hold yourself accountable for outcomes and raise the bar for quality
