Documentation & Reporting
- Preparation of design reports, calculation sheets, and technical submittals
- Review and coordination of material submittals and inspection requests
- Experience in as-built documentation and project close-out procedures
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Adherence to quality control standards in steel fabrication and erection
- Familiarity with site inspection procedures, third-party approvals, and testing
- Understanding of HSE practices related to structural works
Coordination & Communication
- Coordination with architects, MEP, civil teams, and project managers
- Effective communication with consultants, contractors, and fabricators
- Ability to lead design review meetings and resolve technical issues
Software & IT Skills
- Advanced skills in:
- AutoCAD
- STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000
- MS Excel for calculations and reporting
- Familiarity with BIM coordination tools like Navisworks (optional but beneficial)
