We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud & Drywall Carpenter to join our growing Special Services Division (SSD) in Beaver Dam, WI. This team focuses on remodels, renovations, and expansions across industries including: food/dairy, healthcare, education, and light industrial. Most projects are within a 1-1.5-hour radius of Beaver Dam, with occasional overnight.
What You'll Do:
- Read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints.
- Perform steel stud framing (16GA–20GA), including cold-formed steel systems.
- Hang and finish drywall to Level 5 standards.
- Complete daily reports, safety inspections, and required documentation.
- Assist with layout, wall framing, door openings, and material interpretation.
- Uphold high standards of craftsmanship, safety, and communication.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Journeyman certification.
- 3–5 years of experience in steel stud framing and drywall.
- Certifications: MEWP, First Aid/CPR, Rough Terrain Forklift (JCB/JLG).
- Strong ability to read and interpret floor plans, architectural drawings, and structural blueprints.
- Ability to complete daily reports and safety inspections accurately.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to train or mentor others.
- Proficiency with Procore is a plus.
