This role offers an exciting opportunity to integrate 21st-century skills across the STEM curriculum for all grade levels. The position supports innovative classroom practices through the effective use of educational technology, hands-on learning, and maker-based pedagogy for both students and educators.

Job Responsibilities

  • Innovative Learning Facilitation- Mentor and guide students in creative problem-solving through design thinking, engineering, robotics, coding, computational thinking, and fabrication-based learning.
  • Lab & Maker Space Management- Oversee operations of ATAL Tinkering Labs, Robotics Labs, and Maker Spaces, including equipment maintenance, safety procedures, budgeting, inventory, scheduling, and coordination of volunteers.
  • Project Development & Prototyping- Design, develop, and implement innovative projects and prototypes for students, schools, and industry collaborations.
  • Events & Competitions- Plan and organize workshops, events, and competitions to promote student engagement and showcase innovations.
  • Public Engagement & Partnerships- Represent labs and maker spaces to visitors, partners, donors, senior leadership, and external organizations.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation- Track program progress, evaluate quality and impact, identify risks, and recommend continuous improvements.

Key Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in programming (C, C++, Python), IoT, embedded systems, and STEM education
  • Strong hands-on experience in robotics, automation, design thinking, and innovation-based learning
  • Experience with Arduino, ESP, Raspberry Pi, LEGO, and similar robotics platforms
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms, devices, and rapid prototyping tools
  • Skills in 3D designing and fabrication technologies
  • Strong engineering mindset with research, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to establish, manage, and scale Robotics Labs and Tinkering Clubs in schools
  • Highly motivated, tech-savvy, and passionate about education and emerging technologies
