Description

Episcopal High School is a 100% boarding school, coeducational, grades 9-12, located in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. Founded in 1839, EHS boasts a deep foundation of character education and honor, academic excellence, and a uniquely spirited, diverse, and lively student culture. We seek a full-time STEM teacher beginning in the fall of 2027 to serve as a one-year leave replacement. Candidates must be prepared to teach students in a variety of courses related to STEM, such as statistics or other math courses, engineering, and data analytics in this four-year boarding school. Specific assignment will comprise four to five sections of STEM courses, plus the potential for residential, extra-curricular, and advising duties. We seek dynamic candidates who will participate eagerly in the broad life of the School, and who will actively advance the School's mission, our students’ sense of belonging, its afternoon option curriculum, and its residential life program. References should speak to the candidate’s capacity and willingness to work effectively in a boarding school environment, keeping strong relationships with students at the forefront. The salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience, and the housing benefit (either on-campus or via a stipend to offset costs) will be included.

Interested candidates should review the Episcopal High School website for more information on the School’s 100% boarding environment, proximity to Washington, D.C. and unique and spirited School culture. Check out our YouTube: Are You Ready? And Uniquely Episcopal.
