Step Drill-Level 1
Qualifications:
- Able to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Problem solving skills involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations
- Perform basic functions of arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
- Perform reading, writing and speaking at a basic level
- Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to use a micrometer and other measuring tools, have the ability to monitor quality and work with close tolerances
- Understanding drill sizes is essential
Daily Responsibilities:
- Setup and run the machine with maximum efficiency and productivity
- Operate machine using measuring tools
- Runs specialty work
- Understanding of work tolerances
- Monitoring work quality
- Keep tooling and work organized
- Reading and signing of paperwork
Physical Requirements:
- 100% standing/sitting (employees preference)
- 5 -10% shifting or bending
- Lifting up to 25 lbs.
