Stewarding Executive - The Hoxton Bengaluru City

Oversee daily kitchen and back-of-house operations, supervise stewarding staff, and maintain hygiene standards in a luxury hotel.
What you’ll do…
- Support the Stewarding Manager in the day-to-day stewarding operation, ensuring kitchens and back-of-house areas are clean, organised and ready for service.
- Supervise the stewarding team during your shift; ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Ensure all crockery, cutlery, glassware; kitchen utensils and equipment are cleaned, sanitised, stored and readily available.
- Carry out regular inspections of kitchens, pot wash areas, stores and waste disposal areas to maintain exceptional hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals, operating equipment and stewarding supplies, reporting replenishment requirements promptly.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, HACCP and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Support banquet and event operations by coordinating the movement and availability of operating equipment.
- Work closely with the Kitchen, Food & Beverage and Engineering teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with inventory counts, breakage control, equipment maintenance and cost management initiatives.
- Lead by example, creating a positive working environment while coaching and supporting team members during daily operations.

- Previous experience as a Stewarding Executive, Senior Steward or similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of kitchen operations, stewarding procedures, food safety, HACCP and sanitation standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team while maintaining operational standards.
- A qualification in Hospitality or Food Production is an advantage.
