Position Summary

The Stockroom Clerk will assist with inventory stock and managing inventory, including cycle counts, safety stock, dead stock, fill rates, and reconciliation coordination of all components. Given the complex nature of the products, there will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizing an RF Gun to scan and accurately record kits of electronic parts for distribution to the various internal departments
  • Distributing stockroom materials in accordance with the associated work orders
  • Conducting physical inventories and correcting discrepancies on a routine basis
  • Recording inventory of all stockroom parts as needed
  • Assists with material handling of stored materials in assigned locations
  • Reporting defective material when identified within the stockroom
  • Cross training in the Shipping and Receiving department as needed


Education & Skills Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1-year related experience
  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
  • Experience with computerized inventory/ERP systems
  • Proficient use of an RF gun
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to follow instructions
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
