As a Inventory Audit Analyst Officer, you’ll play a key supporting role in ensuring stock accuracy by reviewing, monitoring, and analysing stock count reports submitted by the stocktake team - ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance with company procedures, and effective inventory controls across retail, warehouse, and e‑commerce operations.

This role is perfect for fresh graduates or early‑career professionals who enjoy hands‑on work, attention to detail, and learning how retail operations and audit processes work in real life.

This role is primarily office‑based in Arena Watsons, TRX and focuses on report review, reconciliation, documentation, and basic analysis, with occasional support for warehouse or e‑commerce stocktakes when required.

Job Description

1. Retail Stock Count Support

  • Count merchandise accurately based on stock count instructions and audit guidelines.

  • Help ensure stock counts are completed properly

2. Stock Reconciliation & Checking

  • Assist in comparing physical stock counts with system records.

  • Help identify stock shortages, overages, or discrepancies.

3. Risk Analysis for Audit

  • Perform continuous analytical reviews to support risk-based audit planning, execution, and monitoring.

4. Compliance & Control Checks

  • Follow company policies and procedures during stock count activities.

  • Observe store practices related to receiving, transfers, returns, and stock adjustments.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Record stock count results clearly and accurately.

  • Assist in preparing simple stock count summaries and supporting documents.

  • Maintain proper filing of audit working papers and evidence.

6. Teamwork & Learning

  • Learn and apply basic inventory control and audit concepts.

  • Assist in other audit or inventory-related tasks when required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Retail Management, Mathematics, Data Analysis or related fields.

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience in retail, store operations, or stock handling is an advantage but not required.
