Storage Technical Consultant

Technical skills:

• Storage replication, snapshot, shadow image and remote replication sync and async
• Brocade switch and fabric (zoning, ISL, trunking, fabric merging etc)
• Basic knowledge of VMware, OS(AIX/Windows/Linux)
• Basic scripting knowledge
• Installing and configuring enterprise storage systems
• Provisioning storage volumes (LUNs)
• Storage migrations and data movement projects
• SAN (Storage Area Network) administration
• NAS (Network Attached Storage) administration

Performance monitoring and troubleshooting

Storage capacity planning Backup and disaster recovery integration

• Hitachi storage platforms

• Dell EMC PowerMax, Unity, VNX
• NetApp ONTAP
• HPE Alletra/3PAR

IBM FlashSystem

• Fibre Channel SAN switches (Brocade, Cisco)
• Storage replication technologies

6. Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.

7. Incident management and change management process knowledge.

8. Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background
9. Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution
