About the role
GoodNews was born in Barcelona in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, with the purpose of bringing back good vibes and reinventing newsstands as meeting points.
Since then, we have managed to bring our Good Vibes to more than 30 spots across Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, and Amsterdam, and to more than 2,000 homes and 100 offices.
Our mission is to lead the revolution of coffee and functional beverages in Europe, inspiring an optimistic, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle.

What you'll do
📋 Your responsibilities
Lead the initial and continuous training of the barista team.
Evaluate performance and propose improvement plans.
Develop internal talent and guarantee high service standards.
Responsible for the daily operation of the point of sale.
Supervise opening/closing, cleaning, order, and product presentation.
Manage inventory, replenishment, cash control, and shrinkage.
Resolve operational incidents and guarantee compliance with airport regulations.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, handling, food safety, and Occupational Risk Prevention standards.
Meet sales, profitability, and operational KPI objectives.
Optimize shifts and operations according to peak flow periods.
Lead, motivate, and coordinate the team.
Collaborate with People Ops on selection, evaluations, and incidents.
Foster a culture of high performance and operational excellence.
Resolve customer service situations effectively.
Participate in barista tasks during high-demand moments.
What we're looking for
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in duties related or similar to the position.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
High capacity to work under pressure due to the fast-paced environment.
Availability for flexible schedules (very early/late/weekends).
Focus on customer service and teamwork.
Nice to have
High level of English.
How you'll work
Schedule: Friday to Tuesday, from 7:00 h to 15:00 h (40 hours per week), indicative schedule subject to the final operation of the point of sale, which may undergo modifications.
As this is an airport environment, this schedule may be adjusted occasionally according to operational needs, providing support during early openings (from 4:00 h) or at point of sale closings when necessary.
