Storekeeper – Civil Construction

Job Summary: The Storekeeper is responsible for managing all site store activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining materials, tools, and equipment required for civil construction projects. The role ensures proper inventory control, accurate documentation, and compliance with company procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes. • Maintain proper storage and preservation of construction materials (cement, steel, consumables, tools, etc.). • Issue materials to site teams as per approved material requests. • Maintain accurate stock records (manual and/or ERP system). • Conduct regular stock checks and periodic inventory audits. • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment. • Ensure proper labeling, binning, and housekeeping of store areas. • Track movement of tools, equipment, and returnable items. • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and consumption reports. • Handle material discrepancies, damages, and shortages with proper reporting. • Ensure compliance with safety and storage standards on site. • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and site engineers for material requirements

Qualifications & Requirements: • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferred). • 3–7 years of experience as a Storekeeper in civil construction projects (UAE/GCC preferred). • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment. • Familiarity with inventory management systems / ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). • Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting. • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. • Basic understanding of safety standards related to material storage. • Inventory control and stock management • Documentation and reporting
