Role Overview

We are looking for a dependable Storekeeper to manage day-to-day store operations at one of our factory locations. You will be responsible for receiving and issuing material, maintaining basic records, and ensuring accountability for all physical stock movement. This is a field-first role that requires high integrity and physical presence on-site.

You will coordinate closely with the central stores team to ensure visibility and control of overall inventory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials, verify quantity and quality, and assist with GRN documentation

  • Tag, store, and arrange material properly within the store area

  • Issue materials to the shop floor as per request and maintain proper logs

  • Maintain basic stock registers (physical or Excel) and update master lists

  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and order in the storage area

  • Prevent unauthorized stock movement or pilferage

  • Coordinate with the central stores team to reconcile stock levels and entries

  • Report stock shortages, excesses, or damaged material in a timely manner


Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a storekeeping role in a manufacturing or engineering setup

  • Physically present and reliable during working hours

  • Basic knowledge of Excel or willingness to learn

  • High level of honesty, discipline, and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with hardware, consumables, and production material
