Storekeeper
Summary
Manage warehouse inventory in Bucharest: receive, store, and issue goods while tracking stock levels and ensuring proper rotation and documentation.
- Receive goods and verify them for both quantity and quality upon delivery.
- Store goods appropriately in the warehouses/storage areas under their responsibility.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as required.
- Monitor and issue products from the warehouse in accordance with the FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management method.
- Check product expiration dates to prevent spoilage and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Monitor and record the temperature of refrigerated storage rooms twice daily (morning and evening).
- Process stock transfers to relevant departments using the inventory management system.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts for all warehouses/storage areas under their responsibility.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Storekeeper / Warehouse Keeper or Inventory Controller.
- Good numerical skills, including basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience working with documentation such as purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Proactive, responsible, communicative, well-organized, trustworthy, and with no criminal record.
- Knowledge of inventory management software is considered an advantage.
- Experience handling food products is considered an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
