Storeman cum Driver (Shipyard)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the store’s inventory oftools and equipment including Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), ensuring accurate record keeping includes keeping record of issuance of PPE and personal tools to workers , and organization of the inventory.
• Receive and process incominginventory and goods, including unloading, verifying, and storing incoming items.
• Delivery and collection of materials and/or equipments from suppliers when needed.
• Verify delivery instructions andensure that all paperwork and documentation are complete.
• Drive company vehicles safely and inaccordances to prevailing Singapore all traffic regulations.
• Perform driver-level maintenance on Company vehicles, such as cleaning ,refueling, top-up of water wiper tanks,visual inspection on tire health.
  

Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Familiar with driving 10-ft and 14-ft lorries.
• Valid Forklift Operator Licence/Certificate.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading of goods.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience in a shipyard, warehouse, or logistics environment is an advantage.
