About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time role in our Christchurch Distribution Centre, working the afternoon shift. It's well suited to an experienced warehouse hand who enjoys a steady routine, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable keeping things running smoothly with minimal supervision later in the day.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 2pm -11.30pm, Friday 2pm -6.30pm (40 paid hours a week).

What you’ll do:

• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
• Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stocktakes and cycle counts
• Operate forklifts and gantry cranes
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
• Support general warehouse duties as required

Requirements

• Solid, hands-on warehouse, stores, or dispatch experience
• A reliable, dependable approach and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work independently, organise your time, and take initiative
• A genuine health and safety mindset – you look out for yourself and your team
• Confidence with manual handling and physically active work
• Forklift experience and licence (preferred)
• Gantry or overhead crane experience (preferred)
• Metals or steel industry background (an advantage)
• Full NZ Class 1 driver licence
