Stores Accounting Profile – Tally

Role Summary: The Store Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting operations within the company and warehouse, ensuring accurate stock records, proper documentation, and smooth coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory accounting and stock valuation using Tally ERP 9
  
• Process material inward and outward entries accurately and on time
  
• Perform stock reconciliation and variance analysis
  
• Verify dispatches and monitor inventory movement across the warehouse
  
• Book sales entries and handle debit/credit notes and documentation
  
• Prepare MIS and stock reports for management review
  
• Monitor aging stock and slow-moving inventory
  
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and finance departments
  
• Ensure audit compliance and proper documentation always
  
• Support smooth warehouse and accounting operations
  

• Experience: Fresher to 3 years in a similar store accounting or inventory role
  
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 is mandatory
  
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation
  
• Understanding of warehouse and stores coordination processes
  
• Ability to prepare MIS reports and maintain accurate records
  
• Good knowledge of debit/credit notes and financial documentation
  
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
  
• Good communication and organisational skills
