STORES ASSISTANT CUM DRIVER

*Driver Job Scope*

Position: Driver

Timing for shift is

9am to 6pm (monday to friday)

9am - 2pm (Saturday)

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers safely and on time.

• Load and unload goods from the vehicle.

• Check all items against the delivery order before leaving.

• Ensure customers sign or acknowledge the delivery order when required.

• Handle goods carefully to prevent damage.

• Keep the company vehicle clean and in good condition.

• Carry out basic vehicle checks such as fuel, tyres and warning lights.

• Inform the company immediately of any vehicle problems, accidents or delays.

• Follow the daily delivery schedule and instructions given by the company.

• Assist with collection of goods from suppliers or customers when required.

• Return delivery documents, payment records or other paperwork to the office.

• Follow all traffic laws and practise safe driving.

• Assist with warehouse or general duties when there are no deliveries, if required.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore driving licence suitable for the company vehicle. (Valid class 3)

• Good driving record.

• Familiar with Singapore roads.

• Physically fit and able to carry or move goods.

• Responsible, punctual and careful with company property.

• Able to communicate with customers and colleagues.

*Storeman Job Scope*

Position: Storeman

Timing for shift is

9am to 7pm (monday to friday)

9am - 1.30pm (Saturday)

Main Responsibilities

• Receive, check and arrange incoming goods.

• Check quantity and condition of goods against delivery orders or purchase orders.

• Arrange and store goods properly in the warehouse.

• Pick and prepare goods according to delivery orders.

• Assist with loading and unloading goods.

• Keep proper stock records and assist with stocktaking.

• Report any damaged, missing or incorrect goods immediately.

• Ensure all goods are properly labelled and stored in the correct location.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse.

• Ensure walkways and storage areas are kept safe and clear.

• Assist drivers in preparing goods for daily deliveries.

• Help with collection and transfer of stock between outlets or warehouses when required.

• Follow company procedures for receiving, issuing and returning stock.

• Carry out other warehouse or general duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Able to perform required tasks and able to carry or move goods.

• Responsible, hardworking and punctual.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of warehouse and stock handling is preferred.

• Able to read and check delivery orders and stock quantities.

• Willing to assist with loading and unloading duties.
