Job Description:
OUTBOUND LOGISTICS:
- Generate yard records for bulk tankers and input into SCADA system.
- Process blend to bulk tankers on SAP.
- Coordinate collection of by-products and create yard records for customers.
- Create gate passes for general waste products.
- Compile By-Products Report.
STORES:
Receiving:
- Check Delivery documentation (Delivery note, Certificate of Analysis, etc.) together with quality.
- Receive process chemicals and minor ingredients into the store.
- Capture Goods Receipts of process chemicals, ingredients, and non-stock items into SAP (Batch No.).
- Receive rework from 3rd Party Warehouses and packaging plants.
Stock levels:
- Manage process chemicals, minor ingredients and consumable stock levels to agreed levels (Within Working Capital).
- Calculate requirements of process chemicals, minor ingredient and consumable stocks and advise Scheduler to create Purchase Orders.
- Conduct stores stock takes (weekly, monthly) and update the stock count spread sheet.
Issuing:
- Issue process chemicals, minor ingredients and consumables to Refinery store (PSA).
- Transfer process chemicals from Main Store (CHEM) to Refinery Store location in SAP(PSA).
- Create PR’s for logistics (transport, pallets etc.) and Capture invoices into SAP.
- Coordinate upliftment of empty pallets.
Stores Administration:
- Ensure materials are stored in the allocated storage areas.
- Ensure stock rotation and batch management according to FIFO principles.
- Ensure Stores housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Ensure Stores material handling standards are maintained (Forklift checklist, etc.).
- Supervise the forklift driver.
- Ensure the forklift is maintained in good condition (Inspection and load test up to date).
Other:
- Attend to invoice queries.
- Compliance and alignment to legislative requirements (e.g. POPIA).

Minimum qualification: Grade 12
Advantageous qualification: National Diploma: Production and Inventory Management
Experience: 3 - 5 years relevant experience in a related role within a manufacturing environment
