Strandhotel Klinten in Rødvig is looking for a chef with a flair for both taste and presentation

About the position

Right now we are looking for a chef to complement our current team of chefs and kitchen assistants. As our new chef, you will be a central part of our kitchen team, producing a wide variety of meals, from conference catering and corporate menus to seasonal à la carte dishes in the restaurant.

We expect you to create food that is an experience for both the stomach and the eyes, and that you are eager to make your mark on menus, directions, and work routines.

Your tasks

• Preparation of à la carte menus, corporate menus and conference catering

• Contribute to the ongoing development of menus and concepts

• Ensure quality and presentation at all levels

• Work closely with the other kitchen and service staff

• Contribute to good collaboration across the house

We are looking for a new colleague who

• Is trained or has worked as a chef for several years and is passionate about gastronomy and beautiful dishes

• Is a team player and a cultural creator

• Taking responsibility and thriving on both busy and quiet days

• Understand that we have many different types of guests and can accommodate their individual needs

• Want to be part of a development journey and make your mark on a hotel in transformation

About Strandhotel Klinten

Strandhotel Klinten is beautifully located by Stevns Klint and offers 59 rooms, conference and event facilities, and a cozy à la carte restaurant open 7 days a week. The hotel was taken over in March 2025 by a local entrepreneur, and we are therefore in the midst of an exciting development where you can have a big influence on the culinary direction and help shape the future of Strandhotel Klinten.
