Strategic Account Manager
You will be the face and voice of Via for our DACH partners, both internally and externally. You'll build genuine, durable relationships with the cities, counties and operators working to deliver better transportation for their communities, while owning the commercial outcomes that come with it — from complex renewals to service expansions. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone ready to take full ownership of a strategic portfolio, on a team of talented, collaborative people passionate about making a real impact for those who depend on public transit every day.
Responsibilities
- Own the success of transportation systems across your partner cities, serving as the primary point of contact for executive city and agency leadership
- Drive revenue growth across your portfolio by securing renewals, expanding existing contracts, and landing upsells through negotiations with senior stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners, translating their needs into concrete service improvements using Via's full platform
- Analyze service performance data on a daily, weekly, and long-term basis, turning complex datasets into clear strategic decisions
- Advocate internally for your partners, working cross-functionally to champion new products and capabilities
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a client-facing role, whether in consulting, customer success, or a high-growth technology company
- An empathetic team player who takes pride in elevating those around them
- Quantitatively inclined and data savvy
- An entrepreneurial relationship builder
- A reliable, motivated self-starter
- Fluency in German (C2 or native-level) and English is required; additional languages are a plus
