Strategic Account Manager, Freight (up to $7500)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales performance and business growth across assigned markets.
• Manage and grow relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing suitable solutions and services.
• Develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage sales pipeline, forecasting and business planning in line with company strategies.
• Conduct regular business reviews and provide customers with market insights, trends and recommendations to support their business goals.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally to maintain strong, long-term partnerships.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.
• Partner with the Market Analytics team on pricing, proposals and new product or service offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer engagements and business opportunities.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and key account updates for internal stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional or indirect team members, encouraging a high-performance and collaborative culture.

Requirements

• Experience in Supply Chain, Freight Management, Logistics or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs and industry demands.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at different levels, especially external customers.
• Strong business development and account management skills.
• Self-motivated, ambitious and results-driven.
• Independent, resourceful and proactive with a strong drive to achieve targets
