Strategic Account Manager, Gaming (contract)

Our client is a leading global technology company looking for an Account Manager for Gaming to manage and grow strategic partnerships within the gaming ecosystem. The role will focus on partner success, business growth, platform adoption, and cross-functional collaboration across the region.

This is a 12-months contract

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic gaming partners, understanding their business objectives and identifying opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, game developers, and key industry partners.
  • Advise partners on platform adoption, user acquisition, monetisation, and initiatives to improve their business performance.
  • Drive onboarding and adoption of new platform features and initiatives with strategic partners.
  • Lead regional and cross-functional projects, working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams.
  • Represent the company in external meetings and provide strategic insights and recommendations to partners.
  • Identify market trends, business opportunities, and potential new partnerships within the gaming ecosystem.
  • Analyse partner performance, business metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities and communicate key insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate platform or operational gaps affecting partner performance, working with internal teams to develop solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, account management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience working with gaming companies, game developers, or within the broader gaming ecosystem.
  • Proven experience managing strategic, client-facing relationships and a portfolio of partners.
  • Strong understanding of user acquisition, monetisation, digital advertising, or growth strategies within the gaming or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across large, matrixed organisations and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify business opportunities and trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, operate independently, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
